We are working with a Family Medicine General Practice locate in County Louth in Ireland. Louth is situated in the north east of Ireland on the borders with Northern Ireland and boasts an impressive coastline stretching over 88km from Carlingford Lough to the beaches of Baltray. The practicen enjoys a great location, strategically located approximately midway between the two largest cities in the island of Ireland, Belfast and Dublin. It sits where the Castletown River flows into Dundalk Bay. The town is close to the border with Northern Ireland and equi-distant from Dublin and Belfast.

To work as a General Practitioner, you need to be eligible for specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council. Possessing one of the following accepted qualifications should make you be eligible for specialist registration in Ireland.

  • Fellowship of the the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program
  • Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) from 2012
  • Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (United Kingdom) from 2007 (MRCGP) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
