The Opportunity
Carter Wellington is partnering with a high-growth, next-gen digital health platform to hire a Senior Nurse Practitioner with deep primary care experience and a passion for telehealth. You’ll deliver adult care across urgent, primary, and chronic needs in a fully remote model—supported by smart tooling (AI-assisted intake & scribe) and a dedicated operations team that removes administrative burden so you can focus on medicine.

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality adult primary care via video and asynchronous chat.
- Use AI-assisted intake/scribe tools to streamline assessment and documentation.
- Practice in Athena (EMR); collaborate on Slack; manage patient messaging in Zendesk; complete follow-ups in Retool.
- Lead and refine clinical workflows, protocols, and practice policies in partnership with medical leadership and operations.
- Mentor clinicians; contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold exceptional webside manner and clear, compassionate communication in both written and video encounters.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Licensure Footprint: Active NP licenses in a combination of U.S. states that collectively cover ≥40% of the U.S. adult population (strictly required).
- Experience: 5–10 years in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, including 4+ years in telehealth delivering adult primary/urgent/chronic care.
- Education/Certification: Nursing Degree, U.S.-based, accredited NP training and national board certification (e.g., ANCC/AANP) aligned to adult/family practice; active DEA where applicable.
- Location: Must be physically based in the United States. (Slight preference for East or West Coast time zones.)
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience setting practice policies and supporting practice management in a virtual or multi-site environment.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills; warm, efficient, and patient-centred in chat and video.
- Strong Plus: Multi-state and/or Compact licensure; experience with Zoom, Athena, Slack, Zendesk, Retool; quality & safety leadership; insurance-credentialed telehealth practice.
