NHG is seeking experienced medical specialists to join its hospitals and specialist centres across Singapore. As part of this recruitment campaign, shortlisted candidates will initially participate in a virtual interview with the relevant Head of Department. Successful applicants will then be invited to attend a final senior panel interview in London during September 2026.

Applicants must be available to attend the London interview in person if invited.

Appointments are available across the following seniority levels depending on qualifications and experience:

  • Associate Consultant
  • Consultant
  • Senior Consultant

Eligibility

Candidates should hold specialist qualifications recognised by the Singapore Specialist Accreditation Board.

Suitable qualifications include one or more of the following:

  • American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) certification
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada specialist certification
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT or CCST) from the UK or Ireland
  • Fellowship of an Australian or New Zealand Royal College
  • Fellowship of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or recognised Hong Kong College

Please note: Certificates of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) are not currently recognised for specialist accreditation in Singapore.

Candidates should also have completed specialist training and be eligible for specialist registration in Singapore.


Salary & Benefits

Successful candidates can expect an outstanding expatriate package, including:

  • Annual salary of approximately SG$300,000 – SG$350,000, depending on experience
  • Annual performance bonus of up to 4 months’ additional salary
  • Monthly housing allowance of SG$2,000
  • Employment Pass (Singapore work visa) sponsored by the employer
  • Relocation assistance including shipping allowance and up to 14 nights hotel accommodation
  • 24–28 days annual leave
  • Six-month probation period
  • 42-hour working week (5.25-day roster)

Recruitment Process

  4. Final interview with the NHG Senior Panel in London (September 2026).
