Carter Wellington is working with a Family Medicine General Practice
locate in County Louth in Ireland. Louth is situated in the north east
of Ireland on the borders with Northern Ireland and boasts an impressive
coastline – stretching over 88km from Carlingford Lough to the beaches
of Baltray.
The practice is currently seeking to add an additional General Practitioner (GP) to cater for patient demand in the local area.
The ideal candidate must have one or more of the following certifications:
- Membership or be eligible for membership of the Irish College of GPs (MICGP)
- Be on the Specialist Register of the Medical Council of Ireland as a General Practitioner
General Practitioners (Family Medicine) holding specialist registration with one of the following accepted qualifications should be eligible for specialist registration in Ireland.
- Fellowship
of the the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
and a Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program - Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) from 2012
- Membership
of the Royal College of General Practitioners (United Kingdom) from
2007 (MRCGP) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
Applicants holding the above qualifications and experience will be prioritised.
About the Role
- 6-8 sessions per week available
- 15 min patient appointments
- Average 14 patient consultation per session
- Allocated admin time within each session

- Salary circa €100,000-160,000 (based on full time) depending on skillset and experience
