As a first flights engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and building out new features in the flight search and booking portal.

Our clients built the world's first comprehensive award-ticket search engine that's easily integratabtle with many airlines across the globe.

One of the biggest hassles of points redemption processes nowadays is searching and really looking for flights that are the best points deals. The bigger banks don't help customers do that, even though it costs them nothing to help customers find better deals. Sometimes a cash ticket will be more economical than booking in points! Having a team member focused solely on tailoring that flight booking engine to any of their customers needs is, they believe, critical to their success.

They need someone who loves to travel and fly and know exactly where the pain points in booking award tickets - and normal tickets - are. Being a part of the travel hacker culture is a huge plus - because then they know exactly how to streamline everything annoying about travel-hacking and they'll be given the agency to run with those ideas.

What you bring to the table

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably at a startup or big tech company

• Experience with React, Django, Python, React Native

• Experience with Amadeus and Sabre

• You're into credit card points/churning/travel hacking and book yourself many flights with points and you can play all those pesky airline rewards search engines like an instrument.

• Bonus: familiar with mobile
