About the job Emergency Medicine (A&E) Doctors

Carter Wellington is working with a number of NHS Trusts throughout England to assist in the recruitment of Emergency Medicine doctors at registrar level although applications from Consultants in Emergency Medicine are also encouraged.

Eligibility

To be considered for these roles, applicants will require MBBS or equivalent medical qualification suitable for professional registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), and additionally possess at least one of the following qualifications:

  • MRCEM Part B or FRCEM Intermediate
  • MCEM Primary (or MRCEM Part A after August 2012)
  • FRCEM Intermediate SAQ (or MRCEM part B after August 2012)
  • FRCEM Intermediate SJP (or MRCEM obtained prior to August 2018)
  • Any additional postgraduate examinations in Emergency Medicine

While these qualifications are highly desirable, applicants with qualifications and experience equivalent to the above are also eligible to apply.

We would be particularly interested in applications from current emergency medicine trainees or advanced trainees from Australia, New Zealand and Singapore eager to gain experience in an NHS setting. Such positions would be eligible for credit to your current training programme if required.

Communications Skills

Evidence of the ability to communicate with patients, colleagues and staff at all levels.

Professional Registration
