Job Summary:

Our client is looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the practice across our organisation of Engineers, Product Managers, Marketing, and Business professionals. You will work across a broad organisation and with numerous other teams to ensure critical efforts are delivered well. You are comfortable with greenfield environments and look forward to defining what Program Management means at the company.

You enjoy bringing structure to chaos in innovative yet pragmatic ways. You hold yourself and others accountable for routinely delivering mission critical outcomes. You are viewed as a trusted, intellectually honest partner within your team and across functional boundaries. You continually ask yourself, What is accurate and what should be done about it? This role will report to the AVP of Engineering Operations.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Work with our CMO and other C-suite execs to ensure mission critical efforts are delivered effectively.
  • Drive the organisations strategic planning process.
  • Define standards for project management, reporting, delivery metrics, and all other aspects of Program Management.
  • Partner with project owners to manage relationships, risks, decisions, and deliverables across stakeholders.
  • Balance project level oversight with portfolio level awareness and vision.
  • Work on technical and non-technical initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement best practice solutions, machines, processes, and tools to ensure systematic delivery of great outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience standing up and scaling Program Management as a practice, from a handful of initiatives to a full PMO.
  • Excellent analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to distill complex issues to meaningful synthesis.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and individual contributors to actualise vision.
  • Track record of balancing the coordination of fast-paced daily priorities with important, longer-term strategic efforts.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager.
  • Experience partnering with product, business, and engineering teams.
  • Experience working in leading financial services organisations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
